My client, a professional apprenticeship provider are seeking a STLS and Childcare Tutor Assessor to join their team on a permanent basis.
The trainer assessor will be covering the Yorkshire area (as close to your home as possible) and the company are recruiting due to a significant rise in student numbers.
The learners are apprentices therefore mainly 16- 19 year olds and are based in companies, they are doing apprenticeships in childcare up to level 3, and STLS qualifications. You will be given a caseload of learners to look after, visiting them at their workplaces and assisting them online at home. It will be a case of managing your own diary and booking in the learners for visits. The apprenticeships are completed through E-Portfolios.
My client are happy to take people on ASAP from a telephone interview and a face to face interview (in Barnsley) They will also wait for the right person if a notice period occurs.
Requirements for the role:
Level 3 in Childcare / play work
You must have your TAQA Assessors qualification or equivalent
Access to a car and driving licence, and also preferable experience in work-based learning/ assessing.
You must live somewhere in Yorkshire and happy to travel to visit learners
