About the job
- territory is the UK (based from South Manchester office when not out with clients)
- managing 1 Sales Consultant and 1 Marketing Executive
- “hands-on” new business sales role
- selling SaaS based payroll, accounting and timesheet software
- target market is umbrella companies, payroll bureau organisations, accounting practices etc
- engage with clients at FD, Chief Accountant, Head of Payroll level
- personal revenue target circa £250K with orders that can vary from £10K to £250K per annum
- sales cycle can be from 3 months to 9 months
- as part of the executive team will provide input into all areas of business strategy
- improve sales processes, sales strategy
- provide accurate forecasting
- manage recruitment activities for the sales and marketing functions
- would be expected to participate in future MBO
- report to the COO
- essential that have sold for one of the following:- umbrella accountancy organisation, accounting practice, payroll 0r accountancy software provider, contract or temp recruitment company or payroll bureau services provider
- commutable to South Manchester office on daily basis (if not out with clients)
- an intelligent, pragmatic, problem solver
- thorough understanding of the umbrella and temporary labour market
