£26,000 per yeareek rising to £26,000 per yeareek after 6 months

One of our major clients who area an extremely well established warehouse in Rugby have an urgent need for a new Chemical Stores Operative to be based within their site on the Swift Valley Industrial Estate.

This is permanent job from day one and will involve doing general warehouse duties such as picking packing, goods inwards and dispatch as well as handling chemicals used to manufacture and maintain the products stored in the warehouse. This will involve knowing the correct manual handling techniques, safe working practices, handling chemical spills and adhering to strict working instructions. Due to the nature of the role there will be a need to investigate problems and multitask.

We are looking for candidates who have experience working within a Chemical Stores before, a good understanding of manual handling techniques and with great PC skills.

Being fully fluent in written & spoken English is essential for this role along with someone who can think of their feet; prioritise their work load and someone who can work alone.

Licenses for LLOP and counterbalance FLT are preferred along with someone who has a COSHH qualification.
