The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Centre Administrator to join the Afe Babalola Centre for Transnational Education at King’s College London on a 6-month temporary basis . The Centre works to expand access to education and opportunity for underserved young people across sub-Saharan Africa through innovative international partnerships and pilot programmes. Reporting to the Programme Manager, this role will provide high-quality administrative, logistical and operational support to ensure the smooth running of the Centre’s activities. This is a varied position involving diary management, event coordination, international travel arrangements, financial administration and stakeholder engagement. Key

Responsibilities • Provide day-to-day administrative and clerical support to the Centre team • Manage diaries, coordinate meetings and prepare meeting documentation • Take minutes and follow up on actions • Draft and format reports, agendas, presentations and briefing papers • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements • Organise meetings and events, including room bookings, catering and AV

requirements • Support financial administration including invoices, expenses and supplier liaison • Manage shared inbox enquiries and maintain contact databases • Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders About You The successful candidate will have: • Previous administrative

experience within higher education or a similar professional environment •

Experience coordinating meetings, events and international travel • Strong organisational

skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities • Financial administration

experience including invoices and expense processing • Excellent written and verbal communication

skills • Strong attention to detail and confidence handling sensitive information • A proactive, flexible and solution-focused approach • Strong interpersonal and team-working

skills Desirable •
