Organisation: NHS Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG)
Location: South East
Contract Length: 3-6 Months
Daily Rate: £240 – £300 per Day
Start Date: End of AugustReal Staffing are representing a CCG in the South East who require an NHS Management Accountant to support the organisation during a restructure of the finance team.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant who is looking for a hands-on assignment within a challenging commissioning body.
Essential Criteria:
Background in financial management
Recent experience working within a CCG, CSU or PCT
Part-qualified Accountant
Strong Excel and SBS system skills
Good communication skills and team playerPreferential Criteria:
GP practice budgets
Recent CCG experience
QIPP monitoring and trackingDuties and Responsibilities:
Following the month-end closedown process
Meeting with GPs and handling queries
Preparing monthly budgets and forecasts
Supporting the Finance Manager and CFO
Variance analysis
Processing journals, accruals and prepayments
Ad-hoc project assignmentsIMPORTANT: Candidates who do not have all of the essential skills listed above will not be suitable for this position or short listed.
