CARPENTER / JOINER – POOLE, DORSET, UK PERMANENT – £26,000 – £29,378 per year + Benefits
Stream currently have requirements for experienced Carpenter / Joiners to join a leading south coast based business in the Marine Industry.
The Carpenter / Joiner opportunities will suit candidates who have a background in fix or fit-out work in a Carpentry environment. Similar Industries could be; Boat Building, Shop Fitting, Furniture Makers, Construction or Building Services.
The Carpenter / Joiner opportunity will involve working within a production environment and you will be involved in build projects for a globally renowned Marine marque.
Fit-out work will include work on; Bedrooms, Cabins, Kitchens, Galleys, Bathrooms, Heads, Stairs, Companion Ways, Flooring (internal and external), Doors, Wardrobes, Pre made furniture and upholstered items (ceiling and wall panels).
Candidates should ideally have qualified to a recognised NVQ level qualification have an Apprenticeship qualification, or have significant relevant experience in a similar type of role and be competent enough to pass a practical carpentry trade test to prove they have the skills to meet quality standards.
