Care Home Chef Required Leamington Spa Long Shifts

An experienced Chef/Cook is required for a care home in Royal Leamington Spa working Monday to Fri, may work some weekends during the hour 7 – 4 pm straight shifts

As Chef/Cook, in addition to a valid DBS check* from the last two years, you will offer the following experience, skills and qualifications: –

– Experience in a professional kitchen as a Chef / Cook.
– Chef/Cook with experience running a kitchen unit.
– Experience of preparing fresh food and pastries to high standards.
– Knowledge of food safety, food preparation and handling.
– Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Cookery and Food Hygiene.
– Good communication skills.
– Team working experience.
– Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative.
– Driving licence and own transport due to location.

*Note holding a valid CRB/DBS Certificate can ensure a potential immediate start subject to references.

The Chef role will be responsible for the following: –

– You will ensure breakfast, lunch and evening meals are delivered on time.
– Ensuring that all food produced is of the very highest standards.
– Ensuring that all Health & Safety requirements are met.

In return for your Chef skills and experience, the client is offering an hourly Salary: of £26,000The hours of the role will be 7pm – 4pm and this is a great chance to earn good money while gaining further kitchen/Chef experience.
