Care Assistant

Care Assistant – The Company:
We are recruiting a full time Care Assistant with experience or a passion and willingness to train to join this lovely residential care home. You will ideally have experience of working within the care industry and hold an NVQ 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.

Assistant – The Role:
– Assist with the implementation of individual resident care plans
– Undertake routine tasks and activities
– Provide practical support and responsive care to residents who require assistance with personal needs such as dressing, bathing and toileting activities
– Observe and monitor the well being of residents ensuring that any unusual physical, mental or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff/the primary nurse and are documented as appropriate
– Develop and maintain a good professional relationship with residents, colleagues and visitors responding promptly and courteously to requests and enquiries

Care Assistant – The Candidate:
– Passionate about supporting residents

– Ideally Level 2/3 qualified in Social Care
