Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per year
THE COMPANY:
My client is a leading designer and manufacturer of Stainless Steel Building Products and offer a range of products which is constantly evolving to keep pace with the ever changing demands of the industry.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Design / CAD Technician, with a background in the construction / building product industry, to join the Design Team with my who are based in the Meadowhall area of Sheffield.
THE ROLE
Your duties will be:
* Scheduling, draughting and detailing steel construction products.
* Providing continued customer support.
* The position is office based but there may be occasional site visits when required.
THE CANDIATE.
* Applicants should be AutoCAD literate.
* Experience in construction design and with a good understanding of the construction process and building methods is an advantage.
* You will be I.T literate, able to communicate effectively with the design team, i.e. external Architects, Engineers and Site Construction personnel.
* You will be able to run projects efficiently.
* Knowledge of building products, structural steelwork & / or construction techniques would be a distinct advantage.
SALARY
£20-25K depending on experience + paid healthcare and company contributing pension scheme after probationary period and free onsite parking
Working Hours – 37.75 hrs per week – 8.45am – 5.00pm
