Job Summary

We are currently recruiting a driven, motivated Software Engineer with a passion for learning new technologies. The successful candidate will be able to build systems from the ground up, identifying optimisations and developing solutions.

Main Duties

* Write, analyse, optimise, test, deploy, serve, and scale a range of applications (front and back-end) in variety of languages: Go, Elixir, JS

* Work with the team to identify roadmap of project and individual output be responsible for staying on track of timeline and deliverables

* Identify and share recommendations for future developments

* Database design, deployment, optimisation, and scaling: NoSQL + SQL

* Maintain and support live software releases within Google Cloud Platform on Google Kubernetes Engine

* Contribute to the creation of the solution: software architecture, requirements gathering and project management

* Deliver and maintain systems monitoring and correcting software defects

* Support agile environment with rapidly evolving requirements

Candidate Requirements

* Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Software or related field

* Lots of experience with C++.

* Experience with DevOps, System and Cloud architecture design. Google Cloud Platform + Google Kubernetes Engine experience preferred

* Solid understanding of containerised microservice architecture design, deployment and maintenance

* Ability to express ideas through discussion, prototyping and code

* Able to work to deadlines.
