Graphics Programmer – Gaming Studio – Kent – £35,000 + 5% Bonus

An independent Gaming studio based in Kent are on the lookout for a passionate and enthusiastic Graphics Programmer to join a very talented team. This gaming organisation are always on the lookout for the best talent across the market and look to bring on at least 100+ staff on a yearly basis to fill multiple sites.
This organisation are growing fast, developing their games using cutting edge technology across multiple platforms and have big ambitions for future success. They will be looking for a ~Graphics Engineer to join the game creation process and work across a variety of rendering disciplines such as VFX, Lighting, Post processing and Optimisation.

Role – Graphics Programmer, C++, VFX
Location – Kent
Salary – £42,000 including 5% bonus

Role:

This critical role will work with the Lead Programmer and Lead Artist to highlight, plan and implement graphics updates within the Flight Simulator Engine. They will be looking for individuals that will push the visual boundaries and they will be looking for Programmers with great vision and techniques in order to continue the company’s success.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain high quality rendering applications within the existing engine framework.
* Work closely with a cross-discipline team to provide highly productive and effective art and content workflows.
* Research, innovate and implement long term real-time rendering techniques.

Skills and experience:

As a Graphics Programmer they will be looking for excellent knowledge of graphics pipelines and hardware architecture. They will also be looking for high confidence in profiling and optimisation techniques. Visual Studio experience is certainly vital for this position along with a good working knowledge of C++.
This role will be looking to £35,000 including a 5% bonus, Company Pension, Childcare vouchers and other great benefits.
