THE CLIENT
5X NC Programmer / NX Programmer
Based in the heart of Lincolnshire and with a fantastic historical background, my client is a leading supplier of Industrial Turbo machinery to the Oil and Gas Industry. As an OEM, my client provide a conclusive Design, Manufacture and Aftermarket service and are part of a global organisation leading the way in Gas Turbine technology. We are looking for an experienced NC Programmer / NX Programmer with specific experience with Unigraphics on turning and milling machines
THE SALARY/RATE/PACKAGE/BENEFITS
5X NC Programmer / NX Programmer
• £37.2 per hour DOE
• Based in Lincolnshire – Newark, Gainsborough, Lincoln, Doncaster
• Initial 6 month contract
• 40 – 50 hours per week
THE CANDIDATE
5X NC Programmer / NX Programmer
Essential Skills/Experience
• Good manufacturing engineering experience
• Must have NC Programming experience and proving out experience
• Must have experience using Unigraphics
• Experience of programming turning and milling machines
Desirable Skills/Experience
• Ideally somebody will have experience programming machines within the Aerospace, Power Generation or similar industry sector
• The NC Programmer / NX Programmer will have experience re-programming new machines that have been carried over from older manual machines
• Experience with overhaul or repair work
• Experience of either Mazatrol, Fanuc or Matrix 2 controls
THE ROLE
5X NC Programmer / NX Programmer
• My client have recently invested several million pounds in new machinery which will replace the current manual machining process that is in place, therefore providing a long term cost saving activity
• In order for this to take place my client need an experienced NC Programmer / NX Programmer to program the new machines in the overhauls facility, this is a very important project which will effectively save the client a lot of money
• The role will entail various programming activities on turning and milling machines
