The Role:

– Working out of the clients West Midlands Head Office the successful candidate must communicate with all suppliers, liaising upon day to day issues, products, and delivery information
– Alongside the Operations Manager, responsible for £15M worth of spend
– Obtaining best prices for bespoke and stock items from suppliers
– Liaise with suppliers to achieve outstanding standards of quality, availability and profitability
– To build and maintain relationships with suppliers
– Support the Operations Manager, and coordinate between them and internal departments of the business.
– Ensure effective and dynamic Supply Chain Management

The Ideal Person:

– Experience working within a buying capacity
– Experience managing a £10M annual spend
– Experience working within the construction materials industry
– A driven and progressive personality who can negotiate under tough market conditions
