Buyer

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Buyer/Sourcing Executive within our client in Hatfield. The successful individual will be responsible for delivering the highest level of sourcing, inventory management, commercial negotiation, partner management for a portfolio of Mobile Products.

Roles and Responsibilities:

â?¢ · Responsible for the Purchase Order placement with suppliers
â?¢ · Managing invoice queries, cancelled lines, Delivery Discrepancy Notice and returns within SLAs
â?¢ · Relationship management both internally and externally
â?¢ · Expedites and proactively switched business if lead times become protracted
â?¢ · Contribute to general vendor negotiation with Product Managers in setting rebates, associated rebate rates and general smart deals
â?¢ · Can take the lead as a relationship manager for a supplier across multiple category teams
â?¢ · Work with sales, sales specialists and product managers in sourcing products for complex deals or general merchandising

Skills and Experience Required

â?¢ · Procurement experience from a commercial background
â?¢ · Strong organisational and analytical skills
â?¢ · Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communicational skills
â?¢ · Highly motivated and proactive
â?¢ · Strong negotiation and commercial skills
â?¢ · Excellent MS Excel skills
