Business Intelligence Engineer

Salary: £58,320 per year

What you’ll do
If you know your way around a data warehouse and are motivated by helping others then join Optivo as a BI Engineer.
This is a key supporting role within our BI team. You will prepare data within our data warehouse to order, for report developers and others to use in production of management reports.
You’ll work across the widest range of data sets within our business, originating in multiple systems. You’ll have a head for systems, and tracking the flow of data through. You’ll take pride in neatness, with smart coding and always looking for simple solutions.
What you’ll need
You’ll be mathematically minded, capable of translating sometimes complex data requests form the business into SQL code.
A team player, you’ll work with our other BI Engineer and other colleagues to ensure a clean, tidy, structured and curated data warehouse.
Your experience to date will include work in a data warehouse environment, and may also cover report development and/or data architecture. Experience of working in or with a BI (or equivalent) team will be valuable.
