Business Applications Support Assistant – (1st /2nd Line Helpdesk support background) Office365 – £32,000 – £36,000 plus bonus, hybrid and fantastic benefits – Canary Wharf, London

££Multi-billion organisation have a superb opportunity for a Business Applications Support Assistant ideally from a 1st /2nd Line Helpdesk / Servicedesk support background and looking to move to the next level in your career path.

You will provide support to offices in Europe, Africa and Middle-East where you will be responsible for pro-active monitoring of various aspects of IT system performance, supporting the helpdesk using a ticketing system to log calls and resolving complex issues through to conclusion either internally or via 2rd party suppliers. Your responsibilities will be to assist with the analysis, management & maintenance of business & system data with users at all levels, providing support for projects team including system enhancements, resolving problems and maintaining data, ensuring the client receives the maximum benefit from these systems.

You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and numeracy skills, ideally an awareness of the shipping industry environment, have demonstrable abilities to quickly learn and understand business processes and process flows, have capability to learn new skills & to acquire knowledge of IT applications, have an analytical & reliable approach to problem solving and proven capabilities with MS Office (Office365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) in an IT support environment
