As a Business Analysis within our Operations team you will conduct research and analysis to quantify business opportunities and issues. You’ll work as an intermediary between business units to support business operations, defining requirements, delivering to IT and providing stakeholder management through the process.

Position Description
* Under general supervision assist in defining, analyzing, and evaluating system requirements to solve business problems
* Support the business in the development of business cases, change management and system deployments as necessary
* Advise and consult on the implementation of systems modifications; use business knowledge to develop systems documentation and support the system development life cycle from design through implementation
* Identify, develop and map Level I, II, III processes maps
* Develop formal recommendations for presentation to management that may impact business policies
* Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, decomposing high-level information into details, abstracting up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguishing user requests from the underlying true needs
* Being a liaison between the business unit, technology team, support team and project team
* Support test cycles particularly User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
* Design and document workflow and make recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness
* Review current business processes and identifies areas where the processes need improvement / optimizing
* Manage and deliver process optimization projects
* Drive and challenge stakeholders on their assumptions of how their processes can be improved
* Contribute and develop Transformation Services Knowledge Management & Best Practice function

The Ideal Candidate Should Have:

* Previous experience in a business/operations environment as a Business Analyst
* Ability to learn leading methods, process models and associated tools & techniques
* Detail analysis and design skills
* Experience in process identification, definition and mapping
* Strong PC and documentation skills, e.g. Excel and PowerPoint
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to acquire new skills and apply these in challenging environments
* Must have experience in either Financial Services or Consulting Background
