Business Analyst

Salary: £36,000 per year

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our finance team, which is helping shape
the future of data management at QCS.

This temporary position will have a broad range of focus points; we are looking
for creative and innovative people who can apply the best computer science
and data handling techniques to our in-house data stores to improve our
decision making capability across our software (SAS) business.

The role will involve working closely with a variety of internal and external
stakeholders, in all areas of the business, and you will play a key role in
understanding the business priorities and maximising the use of our insights.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Working with numerous data sources to provide insightful information
to stakeholders

* Identifying, Exploring and Transforming Data for various tasks

* Researching, Designing and Building models to solve key business
problems

* Testing and Validating model performance

* Presenting solutions to stakeholders at all levels

Skills & Experience required:

* Strong numerical and/or data abilities is essential

* Advanced MS Excel analytical skills is essential

* Experience in production of management reports and statistics

* Experience in at least one programming languages e.g. Python, SQL, R: is
desirable but not essential

* Able to collaborate with multiple teams within the wider business
