Building Services Project Manager

Salary: £48,000 – £72,000 per year

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Building Services Project Manager to join my client, who is a leading and highly respected M&E Building Services contractor. They are well established and forward-thinking design and build company based in the midlands that are looking to expand on their existing team. To be considered you will have proven Building Services Project Management experience related to building services within the commercial sector, ranging from Cat A & B fit outs to full HVAC installations to schools, hotels, offices etc.

Building Services Project Manager role:
Working as the successful Building Services Project Manager you will be involved in building service projects up to £3million in value. You will be responsible for installation and specification requirements whilst ensuring compliance with specification and contract documentation. Pre-construction – procurement of subcontractors, materials and plant. Planning to make sure the projects completed are profitable. Attending meetings with Principle Contractors, Consultants and Architects. Carry out project administration-progress reports. Fully resource project and implement any H&S matters. Lead, drive and encourage the site team.

Building Services Project Manager requirement:
Working for a Building Services Contractor at a similar level.
Experience of managing project values between £50K and £1M (M&E)
Consistently good financial returns on projects, taking into account all relevant factors.
Good people management and motivational skills.
The ability to plan ahead, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads.
Time Served Apprentice or relevant mechanical qualifications.
Knowledge of systems to engineered and managed are LTHW, H&CWS, ductwork, BMS, air conditioning, specialist gases and above ground drainage.
