Building Services Manager

Salary: £72,000 – £102,000 per year

Our client is a leading national major construction company with over 20,000 employees, covering all construction sectors including MoJ, Education, Residential, Healthcare. This is position falls within their new build arm. They require a Building Services Manager or M&E Manager (Mechanical or Electrical).

We are looking for an experienced Building Services Manager or M&E manager to look after a range of projects from pre-construction through to build and handover, located on sits from Ealing to Reading along the M4 Corridor and then north and south along the M25.

As an experienced Building Services Manager you will be responsible for:

· The Building Service’s Manager will work on multiple projects including MoJ, pharmaceutical laboratories, residential, mix used schemes and private & council schools.

· You will need good pre-construction experience as you will be dealing with tenders looking at PQQ, working with consultants on bid questions, looking at supply chain, planning schedules, construction programmes.

· As a Building Service’s Manager when sites go live, you will be a high level overseer as you will be attending sites and to make sure the programme is being kept on track, you will make sure drawings are being worked to and that a high quality control is being maintained.

· You will be key to motivating your teams and sub contractors to achieve the best quality outcome on each project

Qualification and Experience:

· Trades background preferred with strong M or E experience at contractor.

· As a Building Services manager you will have to be able to engage and work well with both the contractors and the client

· You must have previous experience as a Building Services Manager on projects from pre-construction to handover.
