Role: Trade Counter Sales / Warehouse person

Location: West London

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 7am start

Salary: Negotiable up to £31,200per annum + benefits

Rhodium Consulting has a great opportunity to join a successful wholesale business as a branch assistant working on the trade counter, in the warehouse and answering phones.

You will be an experienced customer service professional who is able to build good relationships with customers, both face to face and on the phone.

You will ideally have worked in a similar customer facing role, perhaps for a plumbers merchant, electrical wholesaler, builders merchant or a business like Screwfix or Toolstation.

And it will be a distinct advantage if you have a driving licence for ad hoc deliveries covering holidays etc.

Your role will include:

• Assisting in the running of a busy trade counter in store
• Picking and packing orders for customers and keeping store shelves fully stocked
• Promoting the upselling and cross selling of products and bringing fresh sales ideas to the business
• Daily accounting/cashing up/authorising of sales, and associated administration
• Quote from spec and advise customers on plans, dealing with customer queries
• Assisting in the training of new members of staff
• Assisting in the increasing of sales and reaching branch sales targets. 
• Increasing the business customer base by encouraging new accounts to join the company
• Working with the team to ensure the branch and warehouse is presentable at all times
• Adhere to all H&S policies and promote these in branch
• Assist the administration teams with sales and purchase ledger queries
• Assist the administration team in credit control for customers over their credit limits
• Covering the delivery driver during absences is a bonus
