We are working with a leading automotive education provider in who are looking for a Body & Paint Assessor/Account Manager to join their team on full-time and permanent basis.

This is a field based role with your office being your home, but you will be required to attend the training provider’s main training centre in Bristol a few days per month. Your caseload would mostly be based in and around the Bristol area, although there may be some further afield (furthest away being Derby/Kent).

Your responsibilities as an Assessor/Account Manager will involve; visiting employers across the South West to support the apprentices and their mentors, assessing apprentices to the highest standards in body repair and paint refinishing, and meet with employers to advise on apprenticeships and short courses. You would work with the employers to recruit the apprentices and ensure they are the best fit for their companies, and also train employers and mentors on the apprenticeship process and explain the expectations of the programmes. You would support the management and development of training materials, ensuring that all courses have clear and precise schemes of work, lesson plans and objectives.

The starting salary for this position is up to a maximum of £38,400 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), and the package would also include a company car, fuel card, 3% contributory pension, and a holiday allocation of 23 days (plus 8 days for Bank Holidays).

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-Strong background as a Body Technician in the automotive industry
-Minimum Level 3 NVQ/ATA or a similar recognised qualification
-Excellent communication skills
-Full driving licence

Successful applicants will ideally have experience in the field of training or assessing to either apprentices or skilled professionals. However, we will also be pleased to accept applications from experienced Technicians who have a background in the industry and keen to develop a career delivering training.
