Bim Consultant (Revit)

The employer is a large national BIM Consultancy currently leading the implementation and development of Building Information Modelling throughout the UK with various global organisations.

Several exciting opportunities have arisen for confident and enthusiastic individuals with 2 – 7 years or more experience in the use of Revit Architecture, Revit MEP and / or Revit Structures.

Purpose of the role: To provide Consultative services to relevant companies with regards to the implementation and use of Revit Architecture, MEP or Structures as well as running training days both in regional offices and at the clients office.

You will be provided with training and support if you are new to this kind of role. (Please note all applicants must have an AEC background)
Requirements:

•Qualified to HNC/HND level in a related area.
•At least 2 years post qualification experience within Building Services.
•At least 2 years post qualification experience using Revit as your main BIM platform.
•High level of knowledge with regards to the relevant AEC industries.
Duties:

You will be provided with a high level of support, which will enable you to perform the following duties:

•Provide training for individuals and part of company packages with Revit and potentially other BIM and CAD platforms.
•Attend client offices (some travelling may be required) to provide training and/or BIM support / consultative services.
•Managing software products, and licenses including new releases and versions.
•Knowledge and implementation of supporting Revit software would be beneficial, but is not essential.
•Advise on BIM standards and enforcement methods.
•Advise and assist in development of BIM documentation and workflow process standards.
•Advise on sourcing and creating Revit Families in response to project needs.
•Future planning and advice on continued use of BIM within the said organisation.
•Presenting ideas, proposals and detailed technical information to clients with the aim of winning business.
Person Specification:

You must possess the following relevant qualities:

•Excellent communication skills
•A good level of Charisma which will enable you to lead presentations, training sessions and liaise with clients.
•A high level of enthusiasm is required.
•You must be a very approachable person able to provide advice to all levels within the AEC industry.
