Salary: £26,000 per year

BIM Administrator/Document Controller

Due to my clients continued success and growth, they are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join their friendly and busy team. This is a full time permanent role and is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate with a real opportunity to progress within the Company.

You should be well organised, have a keen eye for detail. You must be positive, enthusiastic and approachable and have the ability to work on own initiative as well as working as part of a team.

This is a new role within the business to assist our implementation of BIM and associated file sharing systems.

Basic duties will include:
-Assisting in information flow between clients, suppliers & Subcontractors
-Assisting in the implementation of Autodesk Vault
-Assist the Estimating, Design and Contract teams with Document Management.
-Liaise with Suppliers and Sub-Contractors
-Maintain rules and alerts within Microsoft Exchange
-To assist in identifying and arranging training requirements around the system
-We are rigorous in our control of documents. You will assist in maintaining this approach
-Coordinating document control
-To attend Design/Contract meetings to maintain communication levels.

Essential Knowledge and Skills
-Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office systems
-Experience of working in an administrative role
-Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
-Good communication skills – written and verbal
-Excellent telephone manner.

Desirable Knowledge and Skills
-Experience working with document management / collaboration / database software
-A basic knowledge of BIM, Vault and Buzzsaw would be advantageous
-Knowledge of the construction industry, particularly in the mechanical and electrical sector

Full additional training will be given to the right applicant.

Salary: £26,000per year

Hours of work are:
08.30 – 17.00 Monday to Thursday
08.30 – 16.00 Fridays

25 days annual leave plus the normal statuary holidays
