Bid Specialist Writer – Managerial Potential Opportunity

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing all elements of the tendering process.

Roles and responsibilities

• We want you to think outside the box, using your creativity and initiative to implement an entirely new system and strategy for the tender/bidding process
• Overall responsibility for the complete biding process
• Development and coordination of bid responses, at both PQQ and ITT stages
• Coordinate weekly meetings with the Operations Team, providing clear information about potential opportunities and contributing to decision-making processes
• Manage Bid Pipeline information and provide updates/reports as required
• Contribute to and maintain a database of bid response resources and information
• Allocation of work to departments as appropriate and on-going liaison/management to ensure that deadlines are met
• Maintain good working knowledge of contracts held by the company and respond appropriately to contract queries from the wider team

Required skills

• Proven experience of successful bidding, preferably within property and facilities management services
• Ability to manage several bid processes at once.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills and IT skills.
• Analytical mind-set
