Bi-Lingual, German/English Marketing Account Manager – B2b Tech

A top B2B PR, Digital & Marketing integrated Consultancy. They offer services across PR, analyst relations, social, workshops, retainers, content to brand, for clients such as large global listed firms through to SMEs and entrepreneurial start-ups.

The job role:

As Account Manager, you will help develop relationships with one of their main technology clients’ customers and partners in order to supply references, for a range of marketing activities, the most important of these being the creation of written and video case studies.

The role will also involve implementation of high quality marketing programmes for clients and the Agency’s client projects on an ad-hoc basis, as well as providing administrative support to the Account Director/Team.

This position involves relationships with the Agency’s existing clients, a top technology related client, its executives, partners and customers. Suppliers to the Agency, internal teams – including: Web, Design, Editorial & other marketing colleagues working on projects for the same or related clients.

List of duties & tasks:

• Build and develop relationships with the Agency’s Technology clients, their partners and customers.

• Case study and solution brief production (customer evidence)

• Manager projects from brief to completion

• Provide support on other projects

Project Management/Customer Service

• Develop and maintain client relationships with allocated accounts, along with account manager.

• Meet agreed client deadlines and proactively manage client expectations and delivery.

• Arrange and attend regular work in progress calls and/or meetings.

• Work with Account Director and team to ensure clients are invoiced correctly and on time.

Knowledge

• Gain an initial understanding of the clients’ business, their market sector and the target press.

• Develop knowledge to a high level of specific the Technology client (and other technology clients) through project work.

• Continue to learn by reading industry press/researching clients and competitors.

Candidate requirements:

• Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Flency in German and English languages, both written and verbal

• Excellent organisational skills

• Background or strong interest in the technology sector

• Strong client facing skills and experience

• Strong project management skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Team player

• Composed under pressure

• Energetic and enthusiastic approach with a strong desire to learn

• Fluency in Spanish or Italian would be an advantage, although is not essential

Key responsibilities:

• Building great relationships with influencers and clients alike

• Creating compelling content, be it releases, blogs, articles or pitches

• Securing opportunities with the biggest influencers, from journalists to analysts, to bloggers and industry gurus

• Learning about client industries and trends

• Acting as a point of contact for clients and attending calls and meetings

• Providing essential account support

  Person specification:

• Degree level qualification and/or relevant industry experience

• An enthusiastic, can-do attitude

• A passion for writing and an eagerness to learn

• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

• Good organizational and time management skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Keen adoption of social media

• Ability to take initiative and to be proactive

• An interest in technology and/or finance
