Best Interest Assessor – Adults

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to work within Adult Social Services as a Best Interest Assessor (BIA) in Lancashire.

This is an exciting opportunity and the successful candidate will have –
*In depth knowledge of MCA
*Updated knowledge of MCA related caselaw
*Working knowledge of the Mental Health Act
*Good working knowledge of the Human Rights Act
*BIA Qualification and be valid to practice as a BIA

The work will be based on a theoretical understanding of their technical/professional field, but they will be operating within well-established professional procedures and defined Council policies.

Work will involve a broad range of complex problems and the successful candidate will need to manage changing priorities and use professional judgement to respond to differing situations.

In order to be considered for the role, you must have the following –
*A degree or Masters in Social Work (or any other recognised equivalent qualification)
*HCPC registration
*BIA Qualification
