The Job

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant for a Primary Pupil Referral Unit in Leicester.

The ideal candidate will

– Have experience of working within a similar environment

– Be comfortable in managing challenging behaviour

– Be Team Teach trained

– Be able to support students both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

The School, The Child

The school is a Primary Pupil Referral Unit which accommodates for students aged from 4 – 11 who have been or are at risk of being excluded from mainstream education. The school is situated in the south of Leicester City.

The students have complex needs including Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties so the school are looking for a strong candidate who is creative, proactive and flexible in there supporting style.
