Band 5 RMN / RNLD

Salary: £25.2 – £36 per hour

ENS have an 11 week placement for a Band 5 RMN or RNLD for a Learning Disability & Assessment Unit in Billericay starting 9th August-25th October.

You will be required to work 12 hour shifts, 37.5 hours a week over a 7 day period so this may include some weekends. You must be able to work a combination of both long days (07:00-20:00) and night shifts (19:30-07:30).

The service is provided for people who in addition or because of their learning disability have:

* Mental illness and other mental disorders, such as autism

* Challenging or disturbed behaviour

* Degenerating neurological disorders which occurred during their developmental period and led to learning disabilities

You will act as named nurse in the inpatient service taking a lead role within the care team and ensuring that patients care will be individualised, coordinated, monitored and evaluated and that the patients and their relatives are involved in the care at all times.

You will also assist in the coordination of the multi-disciplinary team ensuring the development of quality PBS plans, risk assessments and the delivery of assessment and therapeutic interventions according to need and in the absence of the Unit Manager/Deputy the post holder will provide leadership for the service.
