Aviation Van Driver (Level D)

Encore have a temp-to-perm position in Colnbrook with one of our clients.

The role is for a van driver to join their growing team.

Salary: Salary per year £26,000dependant on experience.

Shift – 3 on 3 off. 10 am to 10 pm. When your shift falls on the weekend it will be a 10am start but the finish time will be once the deliveries are complete (usually around 7-8pm)

Job – Mainly delivering freight to Heathrow airport via the horseshoe and collecting freight from customers in various areas.

There is a very physical aspect to this role as you will be helping the warehouse build and break down pallets. This would suit a candidate who likes to keep fit and enjoys being physical. Regular communication with the operations desk will be necessary as the nature of the air freight industry.

You will need to have your licence for at least 2 years and have no more than 6 penalty points (minor offences) for insurance purposes.

Level D (Cargo Operative) training is desirable but we can provide this for the right candidate. Previous knowledge of the airport would also be an advantage.
