Collection and Delivery Van Drivers – Great Hourly Rates

The Transline Recruitment Group is looking for Van drivers to join a worldwide Courier and Logistics company.

Client Description:

Our client is a company that delivers to destinations worldwide using an international partner network. Furthermore, they deliver more than one million parcels a day across 34 countries in Europe. The client is looking for a presentable, positive team player, who is willing and flexible enough to help colleagues ensure that all of our clients get their parcels to their customers on time. Candidates applicable for the role must enjoy customer interaction, have great communication/interpersonal skills which will enable us to deliver our usual excellent customer service.

This is a great opportunity for full time work.

Key Duties:

Collecting and delivering parcels to both households and businesses
Primarily driving a long wheel base sprinter size van
Organising and planning your own destination route
Following the correct key delivery process supplied by the client
Lifting and carrying parcels up to 30kg
Both motorway and urban driving
Use of an electric hand held scanner
Driving up to a maximum of 150 miles per day

Skills required:

Full UK driving license (photo-card and counterpart) with no more than 6 points
High density multi drop experience (must have made and completed a minimum of 50 drops)
Good knowledge of the local area
Good written and communication skills
Physically fit and mobile
Adaptable to changeAdditional info:

Various shifts are available, however you may be required to work additional shifts so flexibility is essential. The candidate may be required to work overtime during the week and weekends. This role is not suitable for those seeking short term work as this position is temporary ongoing. Candidates will be subject to a stage 1 & 2 vetting procedure that may take up to a maximum of 14 days.
