Automotive Quality Manager
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £42,000 – £48,000
A 1st tier automotive manufacturing company who design and produce high performance components now requires a Quality Manager from the Automotive Industry to join their team.
Automotive Quality Manager – Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
As the Quality Manager you will be responsible for the total quality management (TQM) for the company.
You will also be responsible for a small Quality Engineering team that includes a Quality Engineer and two Quality Inspectors.
You will review, update and maintain the company`s quality procedures
Maintain the ISO 9001 management system
Undertake PpaP`s, 8D`s etc
Work with Suppliers and Customer`s with regards to any quality related issues.
Quality Manager – job requirements:
The ideal candidate must come from the Automotive manufacturing industry as a Quality Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:
Hold a recognised engineering qualification such as HNC, HND or BEng
Ideally have a membership of a professional body such as ASQ or CQI etc
Managed a small Quality Engineering Team
Able to maintain ISO 9001
Experience with PPAP`s and 8D`s
