EDS are looking to recruit good all round Electrical Automation Fitting & Maintenance Engineers to work in Electrical, Mechanical & Security System Industry.
EDS has been trading for over 23yrs and are approved with NICEIC (Electrical), NSI (Security), ISO 9000 (Quality) and have good financial standing. Our clients include Government, MOD, Educational Organisations, Corporate and Blue Chip Clients, products are supplied and installed within the UK with some overseas exports.

Due to the evolving nature of the business we are rapidly expanding and looking to recruit Electrical Engineers, with good experience and the ability to turn their hands to most things, so practical experience is key along with the ability to pick up new ideas and technologies.

This is a full time position in a challenging role, which will require high quality work, attention to detail, working to deadlines and willing to take on new skills. We require a good quality candidate and someone who is willing to put the efforts into the business in order to reap the rewards long term, with option for promotion to progress through the company for the right person within a supervisors or management role (if this suits your ambitions). The work ranges from simple electrical systems and circuits and basic wiring. Installing, servicing, repairing and maintaining a diverse range of products the company manufacturers. Working closely with the fabrication and manufacturing teams building up Gates, Barriers, Bollards, Turnstiles, Electronic Security Systems, Control Panel etc.

You will be working in a team and on your own, subject to the scale of the job. The location of the customers are spread across the UK, for which you will require a full UK Driving Licence. EDS provides a 24hour call out service to our customers, to which you will be required to participate in on a rotational basis. Ideally some City & Guilds Qualifications will be required or similar experience in related industries; electrical / mechanical, electrical engineering, electrical maintenance, controls, lifts, conveyors etc.

Salary negotiable subject to previous experience, between £26,000 – £32,760per year dependant on experience, with some training given.
