Autism Community Support Worker

Salary: £26,000 per year

Start a new job working as a Community Support Worker, for the New Year:-

* £9.36 – £9.59 depending on qualification – this then goes up after probation period

* Selection of days and hours available

* Excellent career progression and future training

* Travel expenses paid at 45p per mile

* £45-55 per sleep in depending on area in Dorset

* Guaranteed contracted Hours

* Free DBS

My client is a well established, well respected, well run charity that helps people with learning difficulties across the South of England. They are a caring company who have gone from strength to strength during the pandemic and are a 24/7 specialist in providing care for people with Autism and Downs Syndrome. Their community work is amazing and they look after their employees as happy employee will provide great care. People can live an independent life, with your help.

We are looking for 10x Community Support Workers, you will be:-

* Providing people with learning difficulties support in their own home as well as accompanying them out and about to make them as independent as possible

* Enabling people to be able to live as much of an independent life as possible

* Working every other Saturday as well as hours in the week as well as one sleep in per week

* Working around various places in either Bournemouth, Weymouth, Pool, Christchurch…. where ever you are closest to

* Helping people with emotional and physical needs in line with their care plan

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements

* You need to be kind, caring, have empathy and compassion

* You would need to able to pass a DBS check – this will be fast tracked

* You need to have a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle

* You need experience working within some similar environment in the community working with people with learning difficulties

* You can be living anywhere in Dorset as they will find work for you in your area
