£240 – £360 per day depeding on experience

The role

Due to sustained growth, we are looking to add to our existing team by engaging Associate Health and Safety Consultants to work with us and support both new and existing clients across the UK. Our Associates work with us on a freelance basis; therefore you may be a self employed contractor with your own clients, assuming there is no conflict of interest.

The role will involve providing a bespoke and legally compliant Health and Safety service to our expanding client base across various industries, the service provided will be as appropriate to their agreement with us. The role will require a disciplined work ethic and the ability to work autonomously with little direct supervision. Excellent communication skills and a commercial solution based attitude are vital.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing relevant, timely advice to client over the phone and face to face as required.
• Managing and developing relationships with clients.
• Preparing and developing clients H&S policy documentation, within agreed timescales.
• Providing any training as appropriate to the client’s agreement with us.
• Maintaining a good working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.

Person specification

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, ideally CMIOSH.
• Generalist Health & Safety background and experience.
• Up to date knowledge of H&S legislation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer/client focussed.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport required.
