Salary: £36,000 – £48,000 per year
Vanbrugh Group are a Specialist Construction Recruitment Consultancy who recruit Senior Management staff for our clients.
We have been appointed by one of our clients, a High End Residential Building Contractor based in London, for an Assistant Site Manager on a permanent basis.
Our client are an established Main Contractor and due to winning new contracts in the Kensington area, they are looking to add a No2 Assistant Site Manager for one of their projects.
The Project:
Based in Kensington the No2 Site Manager will be assisting the Senior Site Manager on a High spec Residential Town House.
The Candidate:
You will need to be a dynamic and ambitious site manager
Ideally you will be a No2 with some experience as a No1, looking for the next step in your career or a relatively new No1 looking to work as a No2 on a larger scheme.
Must have reasonable construction knowledge
Be able to compile monthly client reports and weekly paperwork
Lead, if required, small client team meetings and also comfortable with subcontractor meetings
Good record keeping and ability to plan ahead on short term programmes
Intellectual and be able to take various instructions and deal with and prioritise situations with safety, cost & programme in mind at all times
Requirements:
You will be from a trade i.e carpentry/joinery or degree qualified in Construction Management
A specialism in Residential projects
Have worked for at least 2 years minimum in a similar role
Hold valid certificates including SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS
Good career history to date in a permanent position
Strong IT skills including ASTA power project programming experience (although not essential)
Live within 45 minutes of London
The salary is based on a permanent annual salary in the region of £36,000 – £48,000Package.
This position is available to start in November, however notice periods are taken into consideration.
