Salary: £26,000 per year
Mind Professionals are looking for a highly motivated, well organised, and enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join their Independent Autism and ADHD Assessment and Psychological Therapy Service. You will support a multidisciplinary diagnostic team, contributing to the assessment of children, young people, and adults with neurodevelopmental difficulties. You will also be part of a wider team who deliver psychological therapy.
Applicants will hold an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology or equivalent, as recognised by the BPS, and will have experience of working in a mental health setting, ideally with children and/or adults with autism and/or ADHD.
The Assistant Psychologist will support the diagnostic assessment of individuals receiving a service from Highly Specialist multidisciplinary Clinicians and will assist with clinically related administration, scoring of psychometric assessments and informal assessments tools, and with report writing. The role will also involve intervention and post-diagnostic support work with service-users.
The post holder will perform delegated tasks within guidelines provided by their manager, seeking additional supervision and guidance where required.

Role: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Location: Stow-cum-Quy, 4 miles North-East of Cambridge – Cambridgeshire
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
