Assistant Merchandiser

Salary: £30,000 per year

Joining the team as an Assistant Merchandiser, you will be working for a well-established yet fast-growing retail E-commerce business that sells products across a variety of sectors including electricals and furniture.

You will work alongside a Merchandiser and the Buying teams where your focus will be to ensure the business has the right products in the right place at the right time. You’ll assist with forecasting product demand, placing purchase orders and communicating with suppliers to ensure availability targets are met. 

You’ll also review the productivity/performance of their stock and provide insight to the Buying teams to identify growth opportunities and recommendations to clear aged stock. 

Salary: up to £30,000

Location: Huddersfield – Agile working available with an equal split between the office and home working 

You may either have recently graduated or be due to graduate in merchandising or supply chain planning or have gained some experience in this area, ideally within an e-commerce/online environment. You will be commercially minded and have outstanding analytical skills
