Assistant Manager

Assistant Manager.  Our client has grown into a national group of 17 family entertainment centres across the UK offering late night licensed bars, dance floors, American Pool and amusement games in addition to industry-leading tenpin bowling. They are recruiting for an Assistant Manager in Bristol.

The Role
As Assistant Manager you will:

* Assist the General Manager in providing leadership and direction to all members of staff on all aspects of the business, particularly focusing on customer services.
* Working towards strategies implemented by the General Manager to enable your centre to achieve and exceed business objectives.
* Maximise profits via initiatives and upselling.
* Project manage and implement centre and business initiatives
* Work on a rota basis including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities
In the role of Assistant Manager you will be responsible for working with the General Manager to ensure staff consistently deliver customer satisfaction and the operational brands standards of service.   

Duties also include:
* Working alongside the General Manager to motivate and manage staff members
* Ensure routine paperwork is completed in line with company policies and procedures
* Cash up tills and cash handling, stock taking and monitoring
* Set the company standards in terms of interacting and serving customers
* Dealing with the daily operational challenges and situations
* Ensure that routine maintenance, health & safety and cleanliness of the department is to standards.

The Person
This is an exciting role for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual, living within 30 miles of the centre or willing to relocate to the Bristol area.  The ideal candidate will have proven experience within customer service and ideally have been in a supervisory or management position within the last 12 months and be from a leisure or retail background, however this is preferred but not essential.
