Job Title: Site Assistant (General Handyman)
Location – Birmingham Retail Markets
Working Hours – 36.5 hours 5 days out of 6 (Mon – Sat)
Salary: £26,000per yearhour
The Site Assistant will provide routine repairs, maintenance and security function across the Retail Markets under the direction of the Markets Operations Team Leader.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar maintenance or handyman role. You will have a strong work ethic and have a ‘can do’ attitude and also have great communication skills. You will also be positive and able to give an enthusiastic approach to all aspects of this role.
Job Requirements:
* Minimum of 1 years’ experience within a similar role previously.
* A professional qualification in the area of Maintenance is preferred, but not essential.
* Capacity to work unsupervised and cooperatively with others.
* Basic knowledge of ICT and Microsoft programmes.
