Salary: £28,800 – £38,400 per year
My Client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy who specialise in Hydrology, Ecology and Environmental Management, is searching for an Assistant Flood Risk Modeller to join a friendly and supportive team in Glasgow.
Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in Hydrology, Engineering or Environmental Management and have experience completing Flood Risk Assessments and Hydraulic Modelling using Infoworks ICM or Flood Modeller or Tuflow.
This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to join a friendly team in Glasgow to complete varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Flood Risk, Environmental and Hydraulic Modelling Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Water Companies.
You will be expected to assist team members, check technical work and complete the following;
-Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications.
-Flood Estimation using FEH and Winfap.
-Hydrological Assessments.
-Surface Water Management Plans and Catchment Management Plans.
-Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow.
