Salary: £48,000 per year
We’re looking for an Assistant Depot Manager to work for our client.
They are a specialist in the power generation and plant sector covering construction, event & utilities market. They offer nationwide coverage for the hire, sale & installation of power generators. You can hire fuel-efficient, silenced, ultra-quiet, hybrid generators and led lighting towers.

Responsibilities:
– The day-to-day operations associated with a busy hire depot ensure we meet the demands of our varied customer base
– Being a point of call for our customers, ensuring they receive the highest level of customer service at all times
– Working on a busy hire desk, assisting a team of Hire Controllers with their daily tasks
– Some route planning for internal and external vehicles as required
– Ensuring all work in the depot is adequately planned and organised in line with current health & safety legislation and clients’ policies and accreditations

Requirements:
– Experience of temporary power
– Additional experience of working in an Assistant Depot Manager/senior Hire Controller role specialising within the hire industry
– Further experience of helping the DM to manage the workload of all depot staff
– 3 years experience of being in a similar role
– A strong skill set for managing people, able to supervise a team of engineers, drivers, Hire Controllers, and any subcontracted employees
– An ability to prioritise work according to the demands of a busy depot
– Able to communicate with internal and external contacts at all levels to ensure all clients receive excellent customer service at all times
– A full driving license is needed for this role

The Package:
– Basic salary: Up to £48,000per annum
– Benefits: 25 days holiday plus 8 BH and unrivaled career development
The standard working hours for this position are Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
