Zest4Talent are excited to be recruiting for an enthusiastic Assistant Centre Manager for a national education company specialising in extra-curricular tutoring in English and numeracy skills to children aged 5-16. The role will be based in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey.
As Assistant Centre Manager, you’ll be accountable for supporting the Centre Leader and working and supporting the in-house tutors to provide a top-class education programme. You will be promoting and creating a positive learning environment for the children and an enjoyable working environment for the tutors.
The successful candidate will either have worked in education as a tutor or perhaps gained experience as a Teaching Assistant. You’ll have excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills along with a strong desire to work collaboratively with members of your team and be passionate working within an educational setting for children. Drive and ambition towards delivering an exceptional educational service to families is key. The position is full time, working Tuesday – Saturday.
A competitive salary of 23k plus London weighing of £31,800( total £26.5k per year ) is on offer plus excellent benefits including 28 days holiday and wellbeing + volunteer days
The role will include:
- Accountability for growing your membership through community outreach and reputation building
- Responsibility for supporting and leading a growing team of tutors
- Assisting with the delivery of tuition sessions and providing quality feedback on progress
- Role modelling first class tutoring within literacy and numeracy to children and their families
There are multiple centres throughout the UK, and we are currently recruiting for the Assistant Centre Manager based at their Walton-on-Thames location
