ASSISTANT BRAND MANAGER

FMCG Health & Beauty

I am currently recruiting an Assistant Brand Manager for a Consumer Brands business based in Manchester.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and passionate Marketer with at least 12 months experience in a Commercial Marketing environment, ideally working with FMCG/Consumer brands.

This role offers personal and career development with potential of International exposure.

You will be involved in a wide range of Marketing activity, from Data Analysis/Insights – Brand Management and Digital/Ecommerce Marketing.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare weekly reports in Excel

* Analyse Category and Market research data and convert into actionable analysis and presentations

* Prepare brand presentations for internal meetings and the Sales Teams

* Management of UK websites for 3 brands

* Manage Social Media activity in line with brand objectives and agreed plans

* Participate in product and brand development meetings with Brand Principals

* Raise purchase orders, monitor budgets, ensure product data is up to date

* Provide cover for the H&B Marketing Manager and Customer Services when needed

Skills & Attributes:

* Ideally a Marketing/Business graduate or strong A level Maths & English

* Competent with Excel and Powerpoint

* Strong Analytical skills

* Digital marketing, Social Media, Website and /or Ecommerce experience will be advantageous

* FMCG/Consumer Brands experience strongly preferred

* Excellent written and oral communicator

* Self-motivated, driven and ambitious

* A passionate Marketer possible with an interest in Health & Beauty

* Eager to learn and develop
