Asphalt Plant Operative
Hours of work are Monday to Sunday week by week shifts 4am – 1pm, 9am – 6pm, 5pm – 2am

Role Summary
Mixing on an asphalt plant. You will be required to operate additional plants such as loading shovel. Involvement in general housekeeping, Conduct plant inspections and report to maintenance staff. Training can be provided for the additional work.
? Assist the Supervisor with daily running of the plant.
? Ensure material quality.
? Inform the Supervisor and Lab staff of any Non Specification materials and the remedial action.
? Assist in the maintenance regime of plant.
? Good Time Management skills – flexibility and reliability.
? A key link between the plant, weighbridge, the customer and the lab technician
? Involved with ordering / replacing stock materials.
? Health, Safety & Environmental awareness
? I T Literate (where appropriate).
? Near hit and defect reporting
? Housekeeping and site maintenance
? Complete quality assurance paperwork

? Flexible
? Self motivated
Desirable
? Previous asphalt mixing experience
? Loading shovel ticket
? Basic maintenance knowledge
