ASP.Net Web Application Developer Job

Due to the success of the Company, Capita, FTSE 100 and leading business process outsourcer, is now looking to expand its web application develop-ment team.

Seeking a asp.net web application developer to join their team to be involved in development and maintenance of the company’s key business information systems and customer service systems.

The successful applicant will have a real creative passion for technology and will be working on the design and development of relatively Greenfield .NET MVC 5 / C# applications.

Responsibilities include:

*To build and maintain websites, and web applications, in line with the company’s needs;
*To guarantee built in features for security, compatibility and testability;
*To design, create and program SQL Server databases as required;
*To produce documentation to tutor users in their interaction with applications;
*To assist in gathering requirements and producing project technical specifications;
*To assist producing project estimates in terms of people required and total number of development hours required;
*To attend development and customer meetings before and during development;
*To assist in determining appropriate architecture, other technical solutions and make relevant recommendations;
*To communicate project status deliverables with managers, including efficiency, accuracy any progress and/or delays;
*To keep up-to-date with emerging technologies or applications and to communicate opportunities to integrate them into applications upwards;

So seeking applicants with solid level of experience in the following skills

*HTML4, XHTML, HTML5

*CSS2, CSS3

*JavaScript and JQuery

*ASP.Net Framework 4 and above, Object Oriented development approach.

*ASP.Net MVC 4, 5- using Visual Studio

*C#, MS Unity for Dependency Injection

*MS SQL, T-SQL, Stored Procedures with Entity Framework

Good web application development experience

*Ability to demonstrate a common sense approach to problem solving and an ability to acquire a quick in-depth understanding of business logic requirements, as well as be able to develop sophisticated but intuitive user experiences.

*Ability to take responsibility for own professional development

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

*Acceptance of change and being open minded to new methods

*Good team player, contribute to team meetings in order to develop own and team performance

*Good motivator, encourage others and acknowledge their efforts

* Willing to undergo security checks if successful

Ideally the following as well but not essential:

*Adobe Photoshop

*Telerik Kendo UI

*AngularJS
