Asbestos Trainer – S301 / Ccp

Our client is one of the leading multi-disciplinary organizations in the UK providing a wide range of environmental and asbestos and other services to clients across the UK.

Due to business requirement, they are now seeking for an enthusiastic and smart Asbestos Trainer to join their busy office in West Midlands, although some travel will be required, as they offer bespoke courses to external clients within the public and private sector.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum experience they are looking for is delivering.

The successful applicant ideally must the Certificate of Competence qualifications – i.e. BOHS P401, P402, P403, P404, P405 and P406 asbestos qualifications or equivalent, Health & Safety and Occupational Hygiene courses.

Must have previous awareness training/working experience/knowledge/management within the asbestos industry – Minimum experience – Asbestos Awareness Courses and Non Licensed Removal Courses.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Asbestos Trainer, you will be required to manage, train and deliver asbestos related training to all levels of staff and clients from awareness level through to the Asbestos BOHS Proficiency Module Courses – BOHS P401, P402, P403, P404, P405 and P406.

Auditing and authorizing the company’s trainees and making recommendations as far training requirements are concerned for the technical staff.

Requirements:

In general, you will be innovative a good team player and have the ability to deliver the courses effectively.

Will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, have good presentation, organizational skills and client facing skills.

Will have the ability to develop the team and work under pressure.

Will be well versed with the current asbestos legislation and regulation.
