Asbestos Surveyor

Our client is a reputable social housing provider based in Surrey. They are looking for an Asbestos Surveyor to join their team and oversee all asbestos related works for the organisation. This will involve working closely with the partnering contractor to ensure a consistent approach when dealing with these issues.

Duties (not an exhausted list):
• Undertaking asbestos Management within a social housing context
• Carrying out Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on domestic properties
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Up to date knowledge of Health & Safety procedures with regards to managing asbestos
• Producing reports for the Property Services Manager as and when required.
• Building and maintaining good relationship with staff, residents, consultants and contractor
• Working closely with the partnering contractor to ensure the organisation has a consistent approach to managing asbestos

Essential requirements:
P405 certificate
Experience operating a similar role within the Social Housing sector
