Asbestos Lab Analyst
£21,000 – £25,000 + Benefits

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and proactive individual to join an award-winning laboratory which delivers high-class contract analytical testing, specialist testing, and environmental services throughout the UK. To be successful, possessing the BOHS P401 qualification is essential along with proven experience of working in a UKAS accredited laboratory.
Role Requirements:
- BOHS P401/RSPH3 qualification with previous experience working in a UKAS accredited laboratory
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good IT/numeracy skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
As an Asbestos Bulk Analyst, you will:
- Log bulk samples received from the asbestos surveyors into in-house systems
- Carry out asbestos analysis identification of bulk samples
- Ensure all analysis carried out is in line with health and safety legislation
- Produce reports in a timely manner
- Complete any ad hoc duties requested by the laboratory manager
