Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year
AREA SALES MANAGER / FIELD SALES
30K – 35K BASIC, OTE 60K PLUS CAR, AND BENEFITS

Our client is a hugely successful business established for over thirty years. They are at the forefront of commercial safety equipment and are a market leader that have been established for over 30 years.
Due to business growth and the launch of an extremely exciting new product, we are looking for a Area Sales Manager to join the team. The role will be working as part of the Sales team and will be focusing on growing sales and opportunities for the new product through proactive contact with major national Haulage companies. This will be a fantastic opportunity to join a very friendly fun company to work for, selling a market leading innovative product. The earning potential and scope for progression is excellent.
Main responsibilities will include:
Researching target markets and industries
Attending face to face meetings and presentations to key decision makers
Following up leads generated by internal sales team
Fact finding and building long term relationships with senior level clients
Explaining technical product information, features and benefits
Carrying out on site demonstrations
Negotiating on contracts and large volume sales
Account managing and growing the business with existing and new customers
Attending trade shows
Updating the CRM with all the required date to enable effective lead management and marketing campaigns
Main skills and experience needed will include:
Outgoing positive personality with a can do attitude
A background within B2B field sales and business development
An ability to research and generate leads
Able to build relationships and communicate well with all types of client
Possess a friendly likeable approach
Able to work under pressure and to targets
Well organised and IT literate
Experience of using a CRM system is an advantage, like Salesforce
